I have been searching for good sushi since I moved here from Sacramento. It shouldn't be so hard to find!! I have tried many places in SV and SC and tbh I haven't found anything I've really liked until I tried sushi garden's rolls. Grinch roll was BOMB. I also love that they still give you free edamame.. I've been to some places that got rid of that. Can't wait to come back!
I recently dined here with family, and loved it. Service is a tad slow, but the food is definitely worth waiting for. Their salmon (sake) sashimi was super-fresh and delicious. The salads are fresh as well and feature a light tasty dressing. Wasabi and ginger are fresh as well. If you like wasabi, you may want to ask for an extra order of their fresh sauce. It's really a delightful experience!
We started going to Sushi Garden years ago in Capitola before they opened the other location in Aptos. Once they opened the Aptos location we went weekly and now we moved to Scotts Valley and get to enjoy that location. It's my go-to for sushi and I love bringing friends here. The green salad has amazing dressing. I love the Bamboo Curtain, Tiger Eye, Golden California, Spicy Jay, Ebi Carnival, Full Moon, and Hot Night. My husband loves the Volcano too, I can't eat cheese or I'm sure I'd love it.
